Having a CTE Expo means a lot. It helps newcomers or people that are going to consider joining Cisco understand the basics of what Cisco will be. The strong bond between newcomers and people that are nearly done just impressed me on the friday of february on the 8th of 2013. People communicated with each other very well. I myself also had some small bondings with the students that had some troubles understanding what Cisco would have for them.
My expectations for the CTE Expo went far better than expected. I had thoughts of stuttering and getting nervous in front of teachers but as time flied, the interviews were short and the questions asked were fairly easy. I saw some familiar faces and had some fun getting to give small lectures about Cisco. If there were another CTE Expo, I wouldn't really do anything different except for improvising on my work. My team's project was not complete and had to be slightly rushed due to short time. We only had 3-4 days to do so.
In a CTE Expo, I would've liked it if there were more space and all the other subjects stayed in one place. Perhaps a bigger room next time. It would help keep everyone organized and satisfied. That way all students may be able to go in at once and the Expo can be held longer. I don't know about the others, but overall, I enjoyed my time at the CTE Expo last Friday. I am looking forward to the next one and hopefully it will be better.
